In Need Of A Holiday Glow? I've Sourced The BEST Bronzer On The Market
April 20, 2021
Tried and tested - the best cream bronzer for an all over sun-kissed glow.
The BEST
cream bronzer I've ever tried.
I love a good bronzer for bringing that sun-kissed holiday glow all year round. Since very few of us have had the opportunity to travel this past year, I'd say it's currently even more of a key makeup product which is why choosing the right one is essential. One little sweep of sunny goodness on either cheek can take us from baltic Britain to Barbados in seconds.
Bronzers give the instant appearance of health, as well as making our teeth look whiter and our eyes look brighter. It's even a great multi-use product, complimenting every eye colour out there when applied to the lids. If you're the kind of person who struggles to get blended edges when creating an eye look, bronzers work amazingly well as a transitional shade to blur those edges leaving a seamless finish to any smokey eye. There are so many different textures and tones on the market - my old favourite being the Chanel universal bronzer. Sadly the Chanel 'universal' bronzer is anything but universal for all skin tones, and also isn't cruelty-free, or vegan. It's also fragranced which gives the air of luxury that is in no way good for our skin.
So, I set out on a mission to find a replacement. One that's kind to the planet and delivers that ever desirable glowing texture. And guess what? I FOUND IT! I've tried it on different skin tones in the studios at work, as well as on my face of course.
Ladies and gents, I introduce to you - the MILK Makeup cream bronzer stick.
This product wins all the points for its easy to blend formula, convenient application, perfectly balanced warm tone, glowy texture, and matte finish. There's no shimmer or glitter, however, the cream gives a skin-like finish meaning it's super natural and buildable.
It can be applied straight from the stick and blended with fingers, or buffed onto the skin with a brush. For more information on bronzer, techniques see my post on 7 Steps to achieve glowing skin. I also think it's reasonably priced at £23. It's even available in a mini size which saves the pennies - perfect for an on-the-go zhuzh!
Rating 5/5. Featuring a photo of me wearing my all new Milk bronzer..
